Dance Class Attire Requirements

Dancers may wear any color leotard and tights/leggings/dance skirt, or athletic/dance pants and a form-fitting top to dance class. Dance clothing should allow dancers maximum movement and comfort, but should not be a distraction in class. No jeans/denim!

Dancers must wear authentic dance shoes purchased through GCD or by the dancer as long as it meets requirements according to the class (see dropdown menu below).

Dancers may be asked to purchase a black tank leotard and either light pink or skin tone tights for recital, depending on the class.

  • Needed each week for class: Light pink ballet shoes, Skin-tone jazz shoes

    Needed for recital: Light pink tights, skin-tone tights, plain black tank strap leotard

  • Needed each week for class: All black indoor only sneakers, Skin-tone jazz shoes

    Needed for recital: skin-tone tights, plain black tank strap leotard

  • Needed each week for class: Skin-tone jazz shoes

  • Needed each week for class: All black tap shoes
